About The Position

We are looking for a friendly and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Grill Cashier at Jane's Grill. The Grill Cashier will be responsible for processing customer orders, handling payments, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in cashiering or customer service preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Basic math skills for calculating and handling transactions

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take food orders accurately
• Process payments using cash registers or electronic systems
• Ensure accurate handling of cash and credit card transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station and dining area
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
