About The Position

The Grill Cashier/Cook is responsible for providing internal and external guests with quality service and food. The Grill Cashier/Cook is also responsible for cash handling. The Grill Cashier/Cook's performance is necessary to ensure guest satisfaction, profitability, and a positive, productive, and compliant work environment.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Professional appearance and presentation are required.
  • Maintains a current Food Handler's License.
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent to include Home School Certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares food items by grilling and frying methods.
  • Prepares coffee and/or tea, wash and stack dishes, clean and scrub pots and pans.
  • Sweep and mop floors in the kitchen or dining area.
  • Portions, arranges, garnishes, and serves food to patrons.
  • Operates large volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep fryers, or griddles.
  • Works as a Cashier when needed.
  • Attends and satisfactorily completes all training assigned by the Grill Supervisor or Manager.
  • Performs prep duties for their shift and the following shift.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
