This full-time Grief Support Specialist position in the Kenosha - Hospice Department requires 32 hours per week, primarily during normal business hours with occasional evening or weekend days. The role involves providing short-term individual bereavement counseling, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team for bereavement assessments and care plans, and maintaining accurate documentation. The specialist will also facilitate ongoing and time-limited bereavement groups for hospice and community individuals, develop and provide educational programs on loss and grief, and participate in planning and implementing bereavement-related events. Additionally, the role includes designing materials for families, participating in staff orientations, and collaborating with the hospice volunteer coordinator to train and supervise volunteers/interns.
