Pentair has a job opportunity for you! Join us as a Gridline Operator in our Manitowoc Ice facility. In this role, you will be responsible for operating the grid oven, washer, conveyor conveying equipment, and tube bender within the parameters set forth by the operating manual(s). You will also use various fixtures and hand tools in the assembly of evaporators, ensuring that all tasks are performed according to safety, quality, and efficiency standards. This position requires you to lift and move tools, parts, and materials per prescribed methods, which is essential for maintaining a smooth workflow in the manufacturing process. As a Gridline Operator, you will assemble partitions and evaporators, inspect and perform minor repairs on evaporators, and interpret and apply engineering drawings and instructions. The role is physically demanding, requiring you to regularly lift up to 41 lbs unassisted and maneuver fixtured evaporators weighing up to 100 lbs. You will be working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and must be comfortable standing for extended periods of time. The position operates on the 2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with potential for overtime based on operational requirements. Starting pay is $23.88 per hour, with opportunities to earn $30+ per hour within 12 months, along with various benefits after 90 calendar days of continuous service.
