The Wanek School of Natural Sciences Grekin Laboratories Summer Scholar program is a competitive program that matches undergraduate researchers in the molecular biological sciences with mentored research on a project supporting commercial research in the biological sciences. Scholars receive campus housing for program duration, a summer stipend, and a meal allowance. This student-centered research program focuses on the development of critical research skills in students who are preparing for future graduate studies, professional positions, and/or other areas of collaboration within the biological sciences. This program is open to all HPU undergraduate students with molecular and cellular biology coursework and training. Students were provided with specific instructions on how to complete the application process. Following a competitive application cycle, students were notified of their acceptance into the program. This job description is provided as means for students that were selected for inclusion in this program to complete their compensation paperwork through the HPU Business Office. The research program runs from June 1 through July 24, 2026.
