About The Position

Rock Creek Cattle Company is seeking a Greeting House Attendant to serve as the first point of contact as people arrive at the club. This role is critical to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well-managed environment for homeowners, members, vendors, employees, and visitors. The Greeting House Attendant supports property security, access control, and guest experience while upholding RCCC’s high standards of professionalism and hospitality. Seasonal Job: April 2026 - November 2026 Hours: 20-40 weekly hours / 5-10 daily hours must be available to work 4pm-9pm shifts with the flexibility to work day shifts as well. Job Summary: The Greeting House Attendant is responsible for ensuring a positive and professional first point of contact while maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all homeowners, members, vendors, employees, and visitors. This role serves as a key resource at the Greeting House by monitoring access, verifying authorization, and supporting overall property security. Duties and responsibilities may be adjusted based on operational needs.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of customer service or guest-facing experience required.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Frequent physical activity including standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, reaching, twisting, lifting, and carrying.
  • Continuous use of hands and fingers.
  • Ability to access and navigate all areas of the ranch and resort.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 pounds occasionally; team lift required for objects over 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions, including excessive heat or cold.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a professional, courteous, and efficient first point of contact for all arriving and departing vehicles.
  • Ensure homeowners, members, and authorized guests are granted expedited access to the property.
  • Screen vendors, contractors, and unfamiliar visitors to verify legitimacy before granting access.
  • Redirect unauthorized individuals or vehicles from the property when access is not permitted.
  • Review prior shift activity logs at the beginning of each shift to maintain continuity of operations.
  • Maintain awareness of scheduled ranch activity, projects, and approved vendors, and follow established access procedures.
  • Maintain a daily activity log for each shift, documenting: Start and end times. Unusual or unexpected incidents. Functional or facility issues at the Greeting House (e.g., equipment or security deficiencies).
  • Conduct routine inspections of the Greeting House to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and safety; correct minor issues and report significant deficiencies to a supervisor.
  • Make presence at the Greeting House clearly known and visible to all approaching and departing vehicles.
  • Stop all unknown vehicles in clear view of surveillance cameras.
  • Screen unfamiliar occupants, request identification, and confirm valid purpose for property access.
  • Obtain and review personnel rosters from approved contractors when applicable.
  • Accurately document vehicle descriptions, license plate numbers, and number of occupants; report suspicious or unusual activity immediately.
  • Operate and monitor license plate cameras and general traffic surveillance systems.
  • Assist with parking coordination and traffic control during special events or high-volume periods.
  • Report incidents, violations, or safety concerns—including unauthorized entry or speeding vehicles—to a supervisor promptly.
  • Ensure the Greeting House is secured at shift end, including locking doors and windows, emptying trash, and checking out with a supervisor prior to departure.
  • Follow all Company standards related to safety, sanitation, and cleanliness.
  • Promptly report all member, guest, employee, or personal injuries, accidents, concerns, or high-risk situations to management.
  • Obtain and maintain all required certifications within required timeframes.
  • Participate in mandatory Company meetings and required training.
  • If permitted by law, notify management and receive approval prior to taking required or optional breaks.
  • Accurately record payroll time using approved clock-in/clock-out procedures.
  • Monitor personal work hours and notify management when approaching overtime thresholds.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned in support of overall operations.
