Job Summary: The Greeter will be the first interaction the guest has with a Coastal team member, so it is vital they provide courteous, helpful, and prompt customer service to set the guest up for an excellent experience. The Greeter is responsible for ensuring all guests entering Coastal are directed on what we have to offer, how to proceed in their dining experience, and giving them a brief description of what the Coastal experience is all about. Follows all company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook and duties that pertain to the Host role. Maintains a positive attendance record Follows all sanitation and safety standards set forth by the company Meets all uniform, appearance, and grooming standards as specified in the Employee Handbook Maintains outstanding guest service standards Conducts the first greet with guests within 30 seconds of guests entering the restaurant Picks up orders and completes take-out preparation correctly as specified by take-out procedures Performs side work duties correctly as specified in the "Side Work Duties" pertaining to the Greeter role Follows all end-of-shift checkout procedures with 100% accuracy as specified in the "End of Shift/Checkout Procedures" pertaining to the Greeter role Follows the alcohol serving procedures regarding beverage service standards, awareness standards, and government regulations with 100% accuracy Maintains a good team environment by assisting other team members with their station duties and side work when there is a need and/or when available Accommodates special seating requests for guests whenever possible Job Requirements:
