About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Three to six months of experience in a food/beverage services environment.
• Ability to see detailed guest checks and observe the restaurant.
• Manual coordination to handle trays and food items.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to lift and carry 20-40 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and escort them to their table.
• Pull chairs out for guests and present menus.
• Ensure entry doors are clean and inviting.
• Maintain cleanliness of menus and ensure they are complete.
• Inform servers of their location and assigned station.
• Plan seating chart and organize reservations.
• Check with phone reservationists for all reservations.
• Coordinate with the manager for private parties staffing.
• Verify menu items availability with the kitchen.
• Maintain constant communication with servers, manager, and kitchen.
• Greet guests leaving the restaurant to ensure satisfaction.
• Address any guest issues promptly.
