About The Position
At Lucky Strike Entertainment, the Greeter/Counter Desk Attendant sets the initial tone for guests, providing a "WOW" factor. This role is crucial for creating a vibrant atmosphere and dynamic experiences. The position involves interacting with guests in person and over the phone, managing waitlists, assigning equipment, preparing for leagues, and handling sales. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for a position.
Requirements
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Must meet the minimum age required by state law to serve alcohol
Nice To Haves
- HS Diploma or equivalent restaurant/hospitality experience
- Proven success in school/previous job experience
Responsibilities
- Be friendly and inviting to our guests in person and over the phone
- Manage the waitlist
- Track availability and assign lanes, shoes & other equipment
- Prepare for leagues
- Ring sales at the counter and follow our cash control procedures
- Promptly notify our mechanics of any pinspotter/pinsetter malfunctions and log these issues
- Assist our guests with basic bowling instruction
- Operate our POS system, central panel, computers, and P/A system
