About The Position

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for performing a variety of semi-skilled and manual labor tasks in the maintenance of a golf course; must have the ability to operate specified mowing equipment and be willing to perform menial tasks. This position will be required to work during inclement weather and is considered weather essential personnel.

Requirements

Any combination of training and experience equivalent to completion of the eighth grade is required.
Must possess a valid Texas driver's license.
Previous experience working at a golf course is preferred.
Ability to operate and repair small/light equipment, such as power and hand tools, shovels, mops, wrenches and brooms.
Ability to operate and repair medium equipment and machinery, such as tools a pick-up, tractor, hydraulic mowing equipment such as greensmower, fringe and tee mowers, fairway units, etc.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is required to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Also requires the ability to make rational decisions and perform repetitive motions.
