About The Position
We're hiring seasonal part-time and seasonal full-time for all Greenskeeper positions for Broken Top Club! At Troon, we believe our Associates are our greatest strength and competitive advantage. Whether you have a specialized trade or possess a knack for nurturing and preserving landscape, there’s an exciting opportunity for you to apply your skills at Broken Top Club! Ideal candidates have a passion for landscaping and nurturing our grounds. As a Grounds Keeper, you will be responsible for the landscaping and maintenance around the golf course. Beginner Greenskeepers are welcome. Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work extended hours during golf and holiday season, as needed. Our team has made a conscious effort to ensure strong protocols are in place to keep you and our patrons safe, so you can focus on the customer experience, landscape, and equipment maintenance.
Requirements
- Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e., the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English)
Responsibilities
- Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility
- Mows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees and other areas
- Waters tees, greens and fairways
- Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways
- Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery
- Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
