Position Summary The Greenkeeper 2 position is responsible for daily maintenance activities and special projects. A Greenkeeper 2 is expected to work alone or in groups and take a lead role in the grounds staff to help mentor newer staff. All employees should be punctual, good communication skills, have a good attitude, a strong work ethic and enjoy a team atmosphere.
Requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate
- At least 1 year of golf course maintenance experience
- Knowledge of and/or ability to play the game of golf and understand how job performance affects the playing conditions of the golf course
Responsibilities
- Attention to details
- Clean areas of the golf course, club grounds and facilities
- Communicate and assist Assistant Superintendent with daily responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment and can mow all areas of the course accordingly
- Perform all daily maintenance activities
