About The Position

As a Groundskeeper, you will assist in maintaining the golf course, practice facilities, and club grounds to the highest standards. This position requires early mornings, physical endurance, and close attention to detail. Success in this role means contributing to safe, playable conditions and a well maintained property that reflects the quality of our club.

Requirements

• Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, or outdoor maintenance experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Ability to operate or learn to operate turf maintenance equipment
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to follow direction and work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing or walking for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Mow greens, tees, fairways, and rough according to established schedules
• Rake bunkers and maintain proper sand conditions
• Operate equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and utility vehicles safely and efficiently
• Assist with course setup including changing cups, moving tee markers, and setting up practice areas
• Maintain landscaping areas around the clubhouse and common spaces
• Water, fertilize, and assist with turf maintenance practices as directed
• Remove debris and ensure grounds are clean and presentable
• Follow all safety procedures and equipment guidelines
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns promptly
