About The Position

ABOUT US: Palos Verdes Golf Club is a private club located in the middle of an 800-acre parkland preserve overlooking Santa Monica Bay with ocean views visible from several holes. Established in 1924, the golf course has long been referred to as "a hidden gem" and the clubhouse is a designated historical building by the Palos Verdes Historical Society. Work at a great location with great people! Greenskeeper Duties may include but are not limited to:

Requirements

• Will be able to work safely with a variety of hand tools and power equipment
• Be willing to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
• Be able to follow verbal directions
• Knowledge of tools, methods and materials used for grounds and landscape area maintenance
• Ability to operate tools and machinery and safely maneuver open/closed vehicles or equipment

Responsibilities

• Mowing
• Raking Bunkers
• Watering tees, greens, fairways and roughs
• Using a string trimmer or blower
• Attend trainings and meetings as required/requested
• Other duties as assigned
