About The Position

As Spring approaches, there's no better time to enjoy the summer than by working on our stunning courses! We're in search of Greenskeepers to join us outdoors for a season of fun as Greenskeepers. As a Greenskeeper, you'll play a pivotal role in our dedicated golf team, ensuring our guests enjoy an unforgettable experience that keeps them coming back for more! Utilizing a range of mowers, hand-powered tools, and large equipment, Greenskeepers will perform essential maintenance tasks across Turning Stone Resort's renowned golf courses. Please note: The seasonal role is April 1st through October. There will be an opportunity at the end of the season to transition to an inside position at the resort for the winter months, from November 1 to March 31.

Requirements

• A valid Driver's license is required.
• Experience in golf maintenance or landscaping (preferred).
• General knowledge of the operation of heavy equipment and ability to operate hand power tools and light motorized equipment (preferred).
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 91 - 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate mowers and string trimmers in maintaining greens, tees, and fairways on TSRC golf courses.
• Assist with tree and shrub maintenance: planting, transplanting, pruning, removing, and inspecting.
• Assist with seeding tees, greens, and fairways; edges, rakes, and maintains sand bunkers; sets tee markers and cups on greens daily; maintains ball washers; repairs, sands, and seeds divots; removes debris and cleans flower beds.
• Construct new greens, tees, and fairways; grade and prepares soil base; lays sod, install, form, and lays walks and paths using gravel and asphalt mixes; excavate and backfills ditches and trenches with hand tools; repair and replace pipes on irrigation systems.
