Alexander Drive, Research Triangle Park, NC 27709 Timings: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM; 30 Minutes Lunch Qualifications: 100% onsite. This position is Monday to Friday; however, workers will need to work on weekends on occasion. EDUCATION High school diploma or GED - BS Science Degree. Responsibilities: This position will be working in lab and greenhouse performing the following duties: Assisting in planting, inoculating, and evaluating plants to screen for disease resistance. Maintaining suitable conditions for proper plant growth. Preparing for culture media. Details: Assisting in lab, headhouse and greenhouse sanitation practices including devitalization processing of all regulated breeding materials. Candidates must pay attention to the details and be able to follow Client safety and stewardship rules, stand for long periods of time, and lift 50 lbs. Candidates may get dirty due to working with plants and soil. Listed salary ranges may vary based on experience, qualifications, and local market.
