Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to read and write.
- Must be able to perform physical work including moving and/or lifting up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis from ground level up to 5 ½ feet.
- Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to tolerate inclement environmental conditions.
Nice To Haves
- Some greenhouse experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Plant material as directed.
- Place planted material in the correct location as directed.
- Assist with order fulfillment as directed.
- Move material as directed.
- Prepare crop growing space for next crop including removing debris, sanitizing growing areas, washing flood table trays, and checking that water delivery points are functioning and clean.
- Perform general plant maintenance duties as directed such as spacing, consolidation, cutting back, and flower bud removal.
- Perform general clean-up duties in greenhouses, adjacent buildings, and around facility.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
