The Greenhouse Intern position is part of the Title III STEM Lobotrack to Success (LTS) SRSU STEM Internship Program at Sul Ross State University. The intern will work in the greenhouses and gardens for the Plant Resources Center, College of Agriculture, Life, and Physical Sciences (ALPS). Responsibilities include general planting, transplanting, watering, weeding, cleaning, and maintenance in the greenhouses and gardens. The intern will receive direct supervision from Kelsey Wogan and will learn about the STEM workforce, different career pathways, and research from the faculty supervisor. Additionally, the intern will gain knowledge, experience, and professional connections in the STEM field and will have access to professional development tools throughout the internship program, including resume building and interview practices. The intern is also required to present at the SRSU Student Symposium.
