About The Position

Position Summary: The double haploid project, under the soil and crop department, is hiring a greenhouse worker to assist with the production of winter wheat double haploids for the Mason lab. We anticipate starting date to be April 20th, and the position anticipates consisting of 10 to 20 hours per week. Applicants should be able to show the ability to communicate well with supervisor and work with the proper level of concentration and effort. Resumes are required. Essential Job Duties: Will be watering plants, emasculating wheat heads, and picking seeds out of wheat heads, filling pots with soil to get ready for planting Conditions of Employment: Showing up when they say they will and performing job duties to workable standard Supervision: Scott Seifert and Meena Santra Minimum Qualifications: Able to show up to work and be able to focus and perform duties to proper standards.
