Interns will: Gain a deeper understanding of how to apply the concepts of sustainability, specifically in terms of minimizing waste. Strengthen leadership skills and gain confidence working with researchers and staff members. Practice clear and concise communication through writing emails, meeting with peers and university staff and faculty, public speaking, and creating promotional materials. Enhance project management and organizational skills. Exercise critical thinking and data analysis to help improve Green Labs and Environmental Health and Safety programs.
