About The Position

This position will be a member of the Curricular Development. Position Summary: The selected intern will assist the Green Chemistry Institute by researching the fundamental principles of Green Chemistry and how they are applied in the teaching and research laboratories. The intern will assist with review of curricular materials for publishing and dissemination and facilitate the editorial process to ensure materials meet rigorous standards of accuracy and quality.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a major Chemistry

Nice To Haves

  • The Ideal candidate will be a recent college graduate or pursing a Masters/PhD Chemistry

Responsibilities

  • editorial review of documents
  • research into green chemistry principles and methods
  • formatting of documents, slides, web materials
  • writing summary reports
  • meeting with external stakeholders as part of a GCI team
  • providing feedback from a “student perspective” on a variety of curricular materials and related laboratory protocols
