Green Bean Operator Role: Responsible for operations in the Green Bean area.
Requirements
- Capable of climbing into and out of trailers from ground level.
- Able to work safely outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Able to pull and drag green bean sacks up to 160 pounds, with assistance.
- Able to use stairs and ladders.
- Solid mathematical ability in addition and subtraction.
- Ability to deploy resources effectively.
- Ability to follow and provide written and oral instructions, and communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
- Willing to work flexible hours.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
Nice To Haves
- Stand-up Reach Truck certified, strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Visually inspect green beans for appearance and number of defects.
- Perform pre-unloading cross-sectional sampling.
- Sign in trailers.
- Unload trailers safely and efficiently utilizing vacuum or gravity feed systems.
- Responsible for completing and maintaining necessary paperwork and work orders.
