Gravimetric Lab Analyst I

Exciting Opportunity Alert! The position of Gravimetric Laboratory Analyst I at Alliance Technical Group in Decatur, Alabama, is a vital role within our environmental testing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing samples, which includes logging and labeling air quality and mercury samples with precision. You will also maintain laboratory instruments, operating, troubleshooting, and repairing lab equipment as necessary. Performing analyses that adhere to EPA methods and reporting your findings will be a key part of your responsibilities. In addition to these tasks, you will ensure the smooth operation of the lab by cleaning equipment, managing inventory, and ordering supplies. Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) is crucial to maintaining the integrity of our testing processes. You will also handle data using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to update project statuses and report data accurately. Collaboration is essential in this role, as you will work closely with the Laboratory and Quality Assurance Managers to address technical issues and update procedures as needed.
