About The Position

Our client, a railroad construction company, is seeking an experienced Grapple Truck Operator to support railroad construction and maintenance projects. This role requires prior experience working on Class I railroad properties and the ability to operate safely within active rail environments. Key Responsibilities Operate boom truck to load, unload, and place materials in support of railroad construction projects Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites Work safely within active railroad environments in compliance with railroad and company safety standards Coordinate with field crews, foremen, and project managers to support daily operations Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance Maintain required documentation, including CDL compliance and daily logs This position offers the opportunity to support critical railroad infrastructure projects with an established construction contractor. Requirements

• Valid CDL Class B (clean driving record required)
• Proven experience operating a boom truck in a railroad construction environment
• Prior experience working on Class I railroad properties
• Working knowledge of railroad safety standards and operating procedures
• Ability to travel as required and work in outdoor environments
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
