Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Graphics Programming Intern to join our high-performance team in San Diego, CA. This is a Summer 2026 internship. Do you love baseball almost as much as you love video games? Join us at San Diego Studio and work on our MLB® - The Show game series! As a summer Graphics Programming Intern, you’ll collaborate with engineers, animators, and designers to improve the tools that power the game.

  • Work with C++ and Python to support asset management, grooming, creation, and visualization tools.
  • Expand in-game editor features using C++.
  • Write unit tests and formalize existing game code to improve quality and reliability.
  • Current enrollment in an accredited university Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, with graduation expected between Spring 2026 and Summer 2026.
  • Knowledge of C, C++, and Python (ImGui experience is a plus).
  • Understanding of STL data structures and algorithms.
  • Strong background in mathematics (linear algebra, geometry, vector math).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well on a team.
  • Self-motivated and eager to take initiative.
  • Students with expected graduation between May 2026 - August 2026 from an accredited university.
  • Advanced Degree - Master’s
  • Able to work during one of the following periods: May 18th - August 7th or June 15th - September 4th.
  • Must be available for the entire 12-week internship period.
  • At this time, SIE will only consider applicants who are authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from SIE now or in the future to maintain their authorization to work in the United States.
  • ImGui experience is a plus
