Arrow McLaren is the McLaren Racing IndyCar team located on the West side of Indianapolis. Focus on the process, enjoy the process of continual improvement and the results will take care of themselves.   Purpose of the Role: As a Graphics Installer Technician, you will join a passionate crew that will service and maintain our IndyCar for a high-performance, high-speed experience on the track. The right candidate should have automotive graphic installation experience, preferably with IndyCar vinyl, but not required, and will be self-motivated and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.   This position will work creatively in a team atmosphere while adhering to tight deadlines and remaining calm in high pressure situations.

Requirements

  • Proven minimum 2+ years of experience as an automotive graphic installer
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to complete projects under tight deadlines and quick turnaround times, including working extended hours when necessary
  • Able to work off-site and travel, including to remote locations such as racetracks
  • Must be able to lift and move items that are up to 60 lbs
  • Attention to detail, organized, and proven experience to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional yet friendly personality required to interact with all team members and visitors

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Company brand guidelines, with a creative eye and attention to detail
  • Detail car wrapping and logo placement before each race
  • Maintain facility and track cleanliness and upkeep of equipment and area
  • Collaborate closely with car chiefs and mechanics
  • Adaptable to learn installing many different materials such as windscreen tear offs, window tint, heli tape, etc.
  • Requires travel to races and testing events
  • Other duties as assigned by the department manager
