About The Position

The Graphic Technician at Graphic Packaging in Perry, GA is responsible for coordinating and managing the finished ink supply within the customer's location. This role involves communicating with the customer to ensure accurate product demand while recognizing the working capital targets of both Graphic Packaging and Flint Group.

Responsibilities

• Achieve a zero workplace injury and incident record by maintaining a clean and organized workplace.
• Comply with all Flint Group and Bancroft Bag Safety requirements, including attendance in monthly safety training and wearing personal protection equipment.
• Weigh, blend, and QC inks within pH, viscosity, and ∆E tolerances set for the customer.
• Deliver press-ready inks in a productive, efficient, and safe manner to meet the demands of the customer's production schedule.
• Follow appropriate quality control and inspection processes, including color control with X-Rite equipment.
• Maintain accurate manufacturing and quality control records to meet the customer's production schedule.
• Assist with on-press customer approvals.
• Assist with ink estimations and scheduling for jobs going to press.
• Assist with maintaining the work off ink process by regulating use and storage.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels of all Flint Group products to support customer demand.
• Ensure that the blending area, office, equipment, and floors are cleaned and properly maintained to meet AIB certification standards.
• Perform other related responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
