About The Position

The Graphic Services Specialist provides comprehensive design and customer support services for a variety of printed and visual communication products. This role supports the creation and production of signs, posters, pamphlets, stationery, nameplates, certificates, banners, and other graphic materials based on customer specifications. The specialist collaborates closely with DLA Document Services to coordinate and fulfill project requests, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery. Responsibilities include consulting with customers to assess project needs, recommending effective graphic and visual design solutions, tracking and managing document requests within established systems, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 18 years of age
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to pass a thorough background check screening (credit and criminal history) to determine fitness for a federal security clearance
  • Proficient in the English language (written and verbal)
  • Must be proficient in the use of the Adobe and Microsoft products
  • Demonstrated customer service and team interaction skills are required
  • Exceptional listening skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize assignments
  • Ability to gather information to determine needs; apply problem solving skills and resolve the inquiry/request effectively

Nice To Haves

  • Some college education in a Graphic Arts field of study
  • Five years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the field with an emphasis on customer service

Responsibilities

  • Support the design creation of signs, posters, pamphlets, stationary, nameplates, certificate, banners, or other products, based on customer requests
  • Work closely with DLA Document Services on customer requests as needed
  • Meet with customers to discuss projects, provide solutions based on sound graphic/visual techniques and customer requirements to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Track all document requests in system
  • Work on small team and independently
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Accept other jobs/duties as assigned
