This role will be supporting our Graphic Services activities under the supervision of Dr. Will Ray. An ideal candidate will have: Experience with graphic design, layout and related software. Experience with at least one visual/studio-arts modality, formal training is ideal. Experience with general and biomedical/anatomical illustration in traditional, mixed media and digital vector formats. Knowledge of human anatomy. Knowledge of cellular microanatomy and molecular structure representations is ideal. Experience with motion graphics and computer animation, and/or traditional animation, videography and editing is ideal. Experience with complex data visualization and at least one data-visualization programming language (Python, Processing, etc) is desirable. Job Description Summary: Assists in research studies and experiments under supervision. Gathers and analyzes data, prepares reports, and performs administrative tasks. Must be able to work a flexible schedule with occasional after hours support. Job Description: Essential Functions: Obtains supplies and equipment needed for research projects and ensures they in proper working condition. Assists in laboratory analysis and data interpretation. Assists in the preparation and drafting of research proposals and reports, collecting and collating supporting data. Organizes and maintains laboratory records. Maintains clean laboratory area and equipment. Follows all safety protocols and procedures.
