ACCO Brands is seeking a Graphic Designer for our Kettering, OH location. In this role, you will be pivotal in the design and development of products for the Consumer & Office Products division. This position will balance individual creativity, good packaging/typography, and fashion industry trend knowledge that result in products that best meet the needs of our consumers.

  • Collaborate with the Art Director to create design concepts for various products, including product packaging, collateral, merchandising, and final files.
  • Produce accurate digital files, ensuring they meet our quality and color standards.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong project management skills.
  • Ensure error-free print production files that meet vendor specifications.
  • Create product renderings for presentations, marketing, and packaging purposes.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging design trends, and current fashion.
  • Lead special projects or product lines as opportunities arise.
  • Collaborate and brainstorm with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and sourcing to generate creative ideas and solutions.
  • Associate's degree in Graphic Design, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in graphic design.
  • Proficiency in Mac-based programs, particularly Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Expertise in Photoshop and InDesign is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective coordination with internal marketing and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate design concepts and project updates clearly.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow directions precisely.
  • High levels of creativity and innovation, demonstrated through a portfolio.
