About The Position

R+L Carriers is seeking organized and proactive Graphic Designer at our Wilmington, OH Service Center. The Graphic Designer will support the marketing team by developing print and online design solutions that align with corporate communications, training, and marketing strategies. As well as create and maintain engaging digital content for stakeholders, ensuring all projects follow brand standards and established processes for quality outcomes. This role involves providing creative solutions across various print and web projects, managing the entire production process from concept to final delivery. Including effectively managing multiple projects at different stages, maintaining strong organizational skills, and paying close attention to detail when proofing content. In this role you will collaborate with team members and leadership at all levels, and consistently update project progress using our collaborative project management tools.

Requirements

  • A minimum of five years’ professional experience working as a graphic designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise across a variety of print and digital media
  • Must possess compelling design and typography skills as well as the ability to clearly communicate through visual messaging
  • Expert knowledge of: Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Skilled at managing multiple projects and consistently meeting tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Takes initiative and embraces challenges to ensure successful outcomes
  • Ability to develop good rapport with staff and vendors to meet customer expectations
  • Associate’s[AM1] degree or above in Web, Graphic Design or Electronic Media
  • Willingness to accept and respond to creative direction
  • Driven by a passion for continuous learning, growth, and innovation in design

Nice To Haves

  • Some knowledge of prepress processes and print file preparation is a plus
  • Some experience with photography, videography/editing, or digital signage is beneficial but not required
  • Exposure to UX/UI tools (like Figma) or basic understanding of HTML/CSS is advantageous, though not essential
