About The Position

Modern Woodmen of America is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to help elevate and evolve our brand. In this role, you’ll design and manage the production of print materials and videos for our publications and special projects—bringing fresh ideas and bold creativity to every piece. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Graphic Design required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in graphic design.
  • A portfolio showcasing your work must be submitted with your application.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in publication layout, graphic design, basic photography, and video creation/editing.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, and After Effects preferred (not required).

Responsibilities

  • Design a variety of print materials for home office departments, including magazines, newsletters, postcards, flyers, brochures, posters, and other print media.
  • Capture and edit photos and videos to inform, educate, motivate, and recognize both internal and external audiences.
  • Collaborate with project teams to align graphic design with content and messaging.
  • Apply Modern Woodmen’s branding elements consistently across all projects, ensuring adherence to established standards.
  • Maintain branding guidelines and assets (logos and graphics), and oversee the organization of photo and video libraries, including image release documentation.

Benefits

  • Pay: The hourly pay for this position is $30.00. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.
  • Work Arrangements: This is a full-time hybrid, hourly position: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day), Monday- Friday, with flexible start time between 7 a.m.-9 a.m. Hybrid positions work at least four days in office each week. Employees beginning to work in a new hybrid role will be asked to work on-site (five days a week) during the initial training period which may be up to one year. Hybrid work arrangements are subject to change at any time based on business needs.
