About The Position

VP Racing is seeking a bold, innovative, and detail-driven Graphic Designer to join our dynamic marketing team at our Corporate Headquarters in San Antonio, TX. As a Senior Graphic Designer, you’ll be at the forefront of how the world experiences the VP Racing brand - creating high-impact visuals that embody the speed, precision, and passion behind everything we do. In this role, you will lead the development of compelling, targeted designs across a wide range of mediums - including web, social media, print, packaging, and digital platforms to support campaigns across both B2B and B2C markets. You’ll design for a diverse set of audiences, including performance-driven racers, motorsport fans, distributors, and everyday fuel and automotive enthusiasts. Your work will span multiple product lines and our growing portfolio of subsidiary brands, requiring a strong ability to adapt visuals to align with varying brand voices and market segments. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create campaign assets, marketing templates, and engaging visual content that drive brand engagement, strengthen brand identity, and support key business objectives. The ideal candidate brings a strong portfolio of bold, creative work, deep proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and the ability to deliver high-quality designs quickly in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. A portfolio is required for the position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field and three (3) years of professional graphic design experience AND/OR an equivalent combination of education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrates expertise in branding, typography, layout, and visual storytelling.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Proven ability to balance creativity with business objectives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working across B2B and B2C audiences.
  • Strong understanding of print production, packaging design, and digital asset creation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute creative projects from concept to final delivery across web, print, packaging, and digital platforms.
  • Develop targeted designs for diverse audiences while ensuring consistent application of brand standards.
  • Own and evolve the visual brand architecture, including packaging and product label strategy.
  • Design a variety of materials including logos, infographics, brochures, event signage, presentations, and web/social media graphics.
  • Guide and coordinate visual strategies for social media, digital campaigns, and web initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define project goals, understand audience needs, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee production and printing processes to ensure visual quality and brand fidelity.
  • Provide creative direction and mentorship to internal designers, freelancers, and vendors.
  • Maintain and expand design systems, brand guidelines, and visual templates.
  • Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices to keep brand visuals fresh and competitive.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
