The Graphic Specialist develops new, and updates existing, digital and print employee benefit communications. These communications transform contractual and legislative documents into creatively designed materials in the form of guides, newsletters, wellness campaigns, new hire and recruiting brochures, posters, postcards and campaign logos.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree
  • Minimum 3 years related work experience.
  • Familiarity with current graphic design equipment, tools and techniques.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design; or 2+ years Graphic Design experience.
  • Detail-oriented, deadline driven, and able to handle a high-volume workload
  • Proficiency and knowledge of and experience using Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook, as well as Adobe Create Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
  • Experience working with multiple brands with unique styles and tones of voice, and experience creating booklets, newsletters, pamphlets for print and/or interactive pdfs, ad creation, logo design preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Communications Team members and other key agency staff to develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Translate concepts, ideas and objectives into engaging visual elements and designs that appropriately represent specific programs and services while remaining consistent with the agency’s broader branding and messaging.
  • Develop sales and marketing collateral where necessary
  • Coordinate creative concepts to outside vendors for on-site production
