Peace Industries, LTD (dba Spotnails), an award-winning distributor of pneumatic stapling tools, collated fasteners, and replacement parts, headquartered in Rolling Meadows IL, is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our marketing team, help us continue to build a fantastic workplace, and help our customers grow their businesses. As a Graphic Designer you will assist our marketing manager in creating marketing materials, keeping up with social media, and managing the marketing database. To the qualified Graphic Designer Annual salary, $47,000 Medical/Dental/Vision PTO Profit sharing 401(k) with match The ideal candidate will approach their work with a strong sense of ownership, initiative and integrity, a love for learning, and a strong desire to do whatever is needed to help the team. Requirements

Alignment with our company values
A bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent experience (3+ years graphic design experience).
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite on PC platform (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
Competent in MS Office, especially in Excel for creating databases.
Competent in creating engaging visual content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
Experience creating a variety of marketing materials such as catalogs, packages, promotions, social media posts, signage, and handouts.
A strong portfolio showcasing creative design solutions and a keen understanding of off-setting printing process in packaging and catalogue layout design/production.
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in photography a plus (able to take photos of our products in-house and export as files for appropriate usage).
Familiarity with java script or willingness to learn the basic knowledge would be preferable for making minor edits on our website back-end.

Responsibilities

Create visually appealing designs for various marketing materials, including catalogs, packages, monthly promos, tradeshow materials, digital graphics, and social media content.
Collaborate with the marketing manager to develop and execute creative concepts that align with brand guidelines.
Use photo manipulation to enhance and retouch photos in Adobe Photoshop.
Monitor and respond to feedback from followers on social media platforms.
Update our website using our back-end system for minor edits when needed.
