About The Position

As a Graphic Designer, you’ll primarily support our world-class marketing department while collaborating with teams across the company. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio, stellar communication skills, and a sharp eye for detail. You’re organized, proactive, and comfortable balancing multiple projects while exploring new tools and techniques to keep your work fresh. This role is onsite at least three days per week in our Baltimore, MD office.

Requirements

  • 5+ years as a Graphic Designer, Web Designer, UI/UX Designer, or similar creative role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field
  • Strong foundation in core design principles and excellent typography
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into clear visuals (infographics, charts, tables, layouts)
  • Experience designing for digital and web, with familiarity in responsive and mobile-first concepts
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Ability to create and edit motion graphics (After Effects or similar)
  • Highly organized with strong time management and follow-through
  • Comfortable working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Naturally curious, proactive, and eager to learn.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with video editing software
  • Background in digital marketing, direct marketing, or direct mail
  • Financial publishing experience

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop marketing campaign graphics, including landing pages, stock charts, graphs, report covers, and infographics for video and online assets
  • Create logos and branding systems for stakeholders across the company
  • Partner with developers to adjust HTML/CSS for improved customer experience
  • Collaborate with marketers to plan A/B design tests and iterate based on results
  • Design and lay out direct mail campaigns and other marketing-focused print collateral
  • Work closely with copywriters and marketers to translate concepts into compelling creative
  • Create engaging assets for social media channels
  • Support cross-functional projects for websites, editorial needs, and other design requests.
