Graphic Designer

The Knowledge CoopVancouver, WA
$60,000 - $70,000Hybrid

About The Position

We are seeking a Graphic Designer to serve as the primary guardian of Knowledge Coop’s brand. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for implementing and evolving our brand standards across every visual touchpoint, from regulatory course assets to high-energy social media campaigns. This is a pivotal role for a designer who loves systems and scalability. You won't just be creating one-off graphics; you will be building templates and evolving guidelines that help our entire organization stay on-brand. We need a collaborative "maker" with an eye for typography and spacing, who can translate our new brand standards into a cohesive visual language across all departments.

Requirements

  • 5+ Years of Experience: Proven background in brand identity and collateral design.
  • Expertise in Spacing & Layout: You are passionate about white space and typography. You know how to make a page feel balanced and easy to read.
  • Bold Creative Style: We have a brand that is fun and professional. You should be comfortable using bold colors and patterns without losing the "expert" feel of the company.
  • Systems Thinking: You enjoy building design frameworks and templates that make the rest of the team more efficient.
  • Collaboration: You work well with others and can handle direct feedback to ensure all designs meet the company's strategic goals.
  • Software Skills: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. You must also be comfortable building templates in Canva.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Illustration and/or After Effects/motion graphics is a big plus.

Responsibilities

  • Brand Stewardship & Systems Design Templating: Take our new brand standards and translate them into functional, beautiful templates for use across our Marketing, Sales, and Training departments.
  • Guideline Evolution: Maintain and update our Brand Style Guide. As we grow and refine our aesthetic, you will ensure our guidelines reflect those shifts and remain the "source of truth" for the company.
  • Visual Audit: Proactively identify and update legacy assets (web pages, old documents, social headers) to ensure 100% brand consistency across the company.
  • Training Course Design Course Architecture: Own the design of NMLS-approved syllabi and SCORMed course graphics. You will ensure that complex, regulated information is presented with clarity and professional polish.
  • Product Visuals: Create the visual assets for our core library (ACT, Masterclasses, and Live Events), ensuring the "Knowledge Coop" look is unmistakable in every lesson.
  • UI Support: When necessary, collaborate with our product team to provide UI/UX guidance for our Coop platforms, ensuring the user interface feels like a natural extension of our brand.
  • Marketing, Events, & Social Media Campaign Execution: Partner with the marketing team to design assets for the website, social media, blogs, emails, and product launches.
  • Event Branding: Create the digital and physical assets needed for live events, ensuring a premium experience for our attendees.
  • Creative Liaison: Support the video team by creating digital props and on-screen graphics for training and marketing content.
