About The Position

The Graphic Designer leads the design and execution of all graphic content supporting revenue-generating verticals across Miami Hurricanes Athletics. Working under the direction of the Assistant VP, Marketing, along with the Senior VP, Sales, this role is responsible for delivering premium, strategic hospitality and market-driven creative across digital marketing (email, web, paid/organic social), ticketing, development and global partnerships. This position plays a critical role in elevating brand standards, while directly supporting revenue growth through digital marketing, Hurricane Club efforts, high-end digital and print proposals, sponsor activations, print collateral, experiential design and co-branded partner projects. The role will collaborate frequently with the University of Miami Athletics graphic design team and provide mentorship to the Creative Specialist to ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency across all deliverables.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of professional graphic design experience (agency, in-house or sports/entertainment preferred).
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in digital campaigns, print production and high-end presentation design.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Presentation and proposal design experience (PowerPoint required).
  • Thorough understanding of print production, large-format graphics and file preparation.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Motion graphics experience (After Effects) and/or basic video editing knowledge (Premiere Pro).
  • Photography experience, including shooting and basic retouching.
  • Experience working within collegiate athletics, sports marketing, or partnership-driven organizations.
  • Experience mentoring or overseeing junior designers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design and production of ticketing and hospitality creative assets across digital, print, web, email, paid media and social platforms.
  • Concept and execute co-branded campaigns and partner activations within Miami Athletics brand guidelines.
  • Design print collateral, signage, environmental graphics and experiential elements as needed.
  • Ensure brand consistency and elevated creative standards across all revenue initiatives.
  • Manage projects from concept through final delivery, including file preparation and vendor coordination.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, partnerships, ticket sales, development and external vendors.
  • Develop high-end partnership proposals, sales decks and sponsor-facing materials.
  • Mentor the Creative Specialist, providing direction, feedback and workflow support.
