About The Position

The Graphic Designer plays a key role in shaping how consumers experience Chosen Foods across every touchpoint. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about social media, fluent in cultural trends, and energized by fast-paced content creation. If you live online, speak meme, and love turning bold ideas into scroll-stopping visuals, this role is for you. Working closely with our marketing and creative teams, you’ll bring the Chosen Foods brand to life across digital, retail, and shopper channels. In addition to creating high-impact digital content, this role supports packaging design and development while producing shopper marketing materials such as in-store signage, point-of-sale displays, and retailer-specific promotional assets.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of graphic design experience (in-house, freelance, or agency).
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign). Motion/After Effects skills are a plus.
  • A deep love of social media — you understand trends, platforms, and what makes content resonate.
  • Portfolio demonstrating a mix of digital, packaging, and shopper marketing design work.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to receive and apply feedback.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects at once.

Nice To Haves

  • Motion/After Effects skills are a plus.
  • Videography and photography skills are a plus.
  • Knowledge of video editing and light animation (e.g. reels, transitions, GIFs) is a big bonus.
  • Experience using Canva for fast-turn design needs and template creation.
  • Familiarity with and excitement to use AI tools for creative development, content generation, or workflow efficiency (e.g., ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney).
  • Enthusiasm for food, wellness, and brand storytelling is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce creative assets for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Meta ads, etc.), including posts, stories, reels, animations, and short-form video graphics.
  • Lead packaging design projects from concept through final mechanicals, including label updates and new label design.
  • Develop shopper marketing materials, such as POS displays, in-store signage, retailer sell sheets, and activation toolkits.
  • Stay on top of pop culture, internet trends, design innovations, and what’s working across CPG and lifestyle brands — and translate that into fresh content ideas.
  • Collaborate with agencies and marketing teams to ideate, design, and iterate fast-turn content for testing and engagement.
  • Help maintain brand consistency while pushing creative boundaries across both digital and physical touchpoints.
  • Assist in the creation of email marketing graphics, digital ads, and internal presentations.
  • Prepare final files for publishing across various formats and platforms, ensuring accuracy and on-brand execution.
  • Bring positive energy, fresh ideas, and an open mind to a collaborative and fast-moving team.
