The Graphics Designer will perform work involved in communicating information through visual means. This includes the design and display of visual materials such as photographs, illustrations, diagrams, graphs, objects, models, slides, and charts for use in various media including books, magazines, pamphlets, exhibits, and live or video-recorded speeches or lectures. The designer will utilize the entire suite of Government-approved software, including Microsoft Office products and Adobe Creative Suite, to develop Government briefing packages, documentation packages, spreadsheets, certificates, awards, and visual materials for events. Additionally, the designer will photograph and video record events using Government-furnished equipment or coordinate the use of recording services through available Government resources, and will be responsible for storing, editing, packaging, and replaying the recorded data for organizational events such as retirements, town halls, change of commands, and ribbon cuttings.
