About The Position

Vaco of Highspring is staffing for a full time, onsite Graphic Design role located in South Jacksonville, FL for a large corporate, and fun company. Hours are normal day hours Mon-Fri and a salaried role. We are looking for experienced individuals with portfolios that demonstrate a vivid use of color as well as proven ability to create packaging and social media content that appeals to the retail preteen market. The right candidate will be a self-starter, highly motivated, and pay close attention to detail, as they create professional level packaging elements and meet daily deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 4-10 Years' on-the-job related experience, not including internships
• A bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field is required
• Solid understanding of Adobe Creative suite programs and preparing files for 4 color process printing
• Package Design experience is strongly preferred
• Experience with teen, tween, pre-teen, toy experience and social media a plus
• 4+ years experience with graphic design, Adobe Creative suite (Photoshop and Illustrator)

Nice To Haves

• Skilled ability to use Mac computers, Adobe Creative Suite Software (including, but not limited to, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Premiere and more) to create print ready retail packaging
• Self-starting, proactive attitude
• Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills
• Video editing and basic coding (a plus)
• Expertise with creating content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other social media platforms

Responsibilities

• Design eye catching toy packaging artwork files and social media assets for toy products using new and existing artwork styles and elements
• Make revisions as needed to ensure the very best presentation and output ready art files
• Design artwork for catalog pages, sales sheets and other sales materials for print and web
• Create fun graphics, short videos and creative copy for social media
• Mockup packaging and display artwork by hand using basic art tools and materials for approval and sales purposes
• Update company website
• Develop and follow customized templates and graphics to ensure a consistent brand look
• Manage multiple projects at once, and be willing to put in the time needed to meet deadlines
• Stay abreast of the latest toy and art trends to ensure fresh and innovative packaging
