The Brand Creative team at Kellogg is composed of talented designers, writers, filmmakers, strategists, and project managers dedicated to highlighting unique opportunities for students and alumni to grow as leaders and advance their careers. We are currently seeking a Junior Designer to join our team—a passionate designer eager to kick-start their career. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Director of Brand Design to create engaging visuals that reflect our alumni community. Your work will support Alumni Relations and Development (ARD), a team dedicated to supporting the Kellogg School of Management and fostering a welcoming, collaborative environment. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2-3 days a week in the office at our Evanston campus. In this position, you will create inspiring mood boards, maquettes, and prototypes that spark curiosity and bring our visual storytelling to life. You will pitch concepts with enthusiasm and collaborate with team members to deliver design work that resonates with our alumni community. Your responsibilities will include developing striking print, digital, and presentation materials that foster a sense of Kellogg pride and connection, motivating alumni audiences to give back and pay it forward. You will embrace feedback as a valuable opportunity to refine and elevate your designs, ensuring exceptional quality that reflects our commitment to excellence. Additionally, you will prepare files for web, print, and video, along with spec sheets or design requirement documents, while seeking and analyzing competitive bids from vendors. Staying connected with design trends through proactive research will be essential to allow your creativity to flourish and influence your work. You will skillfully juggle multiple projects while thriving in a fast-paced environment, with some weekend and evening hours as needed.
