About The Position

We are looking for a Graphic Designer specialized in packaging design to join our creative team for a contractor position, with potential for extension. This role will focus on developing packaging solutions that are visually compelling, brand-aligned, and market-responsive across various industries. The Graphic Designer ensures smooth client communication, supervises project execution. The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly adaptable to new technologies, and able to lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience in creative agency environments as a Senior Graphic Designer, with at least 3 years dedicated to packaging design for consumer goods.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, with advanced proficiency in packaging design across multiple consumer industries.
  • Advanced skills in 3D design software such as Cinema 4D, Esko Studio, or CAD tools.
  • Demonstrated expertise in structural and visual packaging design across various industries (e.g., food, cosmetics, electronics, lifestyle).
  • Solid understanding of material options, production processes, and sustainability practices packaging trends.
  • Experience working across multiple packaging formats (boxes, labels, sleeves, containers, etc.).
  • Strong visual storytelling, layout, and typographic skills aligned with brand positioning.
  • English fluency (C1+) required for communicating directly with international stakeholders and presenting work effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure seamless integration and delivery of creative assets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Multimedia Design, Interactive Media, Digital Arts, or a related field.
  • Equivalent professional experience in creative engineering, digital production, or web development may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients and team members.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking: Ability to manage complex projects and find solutions to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end packaging design process from concept to pre-production, ensuring creative and functional excellence.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and branding teams to define packaging briefs, technical specifications, and budget constraints.
  • Research category trends, competitive packaging structures, materials, and visual language to inform design direction.
  • Translate conceptual ideas into compelling design solutions using 2D and 3D tools, moodboards, sketches, and mockups.
  • Develop dielines, structural layouts, and production-ready files that adhere to technical and brand guidelines.
  • Select appropriate packaging materials based on functionality, sustainability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Partner with external suppliers or internal production teams to assess feasibility and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Ensure all designs meet legal, regulatory, and safety standards for consumer products across target markets.
  • Present design solutions to internal and external stakeholders with clear rationale and storytelling.
