About The Position

The Graphic Designer III is responsible for overseeing graphic design for all Resorts World Casinos collateral and when tasked, other Genting projects and properties; and supervising and contributing to the development and production of collateral material, internal signage, print advertising and campaigns.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school or equivalent diploma and have the ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the applicable statute, rules and regulations.
  • Experience and knowledge of digital media strongly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising with a focus on design OR Seven (7) years’ related publication and graphic designer work and/or educational experience
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests.
  • Fluency in English required, second language a plus.
  • Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.
  • Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request.
  • Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least thirty (30) pounds, and varied instances of standing/walking.
  • Must be able to interact with internal and external guests in a professional manner.
  • Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Team Members must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.

Nice To Haves

  • Some experience with digital media content management is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create visual concepts, comps, designs, layouts, and all prepress activities for a variety of print communication pieces.
  • Work with the Advertising Manager to ensure design and brand standards.
  • Oversee and supervise production process for all jobs from inception to placement.
  • Maintain quality control and reviews all files prior to production.
  • Provide creative leadership to graphic design team.
  • Oversee brand standards in type specification, color quality, inspection and approval of proofs to ensure high quality outcome within time constraints.
  • Collaborate with others on strategy and content development.
  • Provide creative consulting to other departments.
  • Utilize the Function Fox graphics software service, work with the Advertising Manager and Advertising Traffic Specialist to prioritize and track the progress of all jobs, including specifications, progress, timelines and other project variables.
  • Archive and maintain files and creates reports as needed.
  • Assign jobs to others in the design department to keep all projects on time and accurate.
  • Work with freelancers, agencies and media representatives as necessary.
  • Engage in professional development as needed to stay current in communication design, and design-related computer hardware and software needs.
  • Demonstrate and provide outstanding customer and employee relations at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
