About The Position

The Graphic Designer 3 is responsible for creating visually engaging, brand-aligned materials that support the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel’s marketing and communication efforts. This role plays a key part in developing creative assets for print, digital, video, and social media campaigns across all departments — including the casino, hotel, golf course, spa, and food & beverage outlets. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented designer with strong conceptual and technical skills, the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and experience working within a team-driven creative process.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience considered.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional design experience; agency experience preferred.
  • Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite — InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere Pro required.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout design, and print production.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; able to receive and implement constructive feedback.
  • Teamwork: Must work well in a collaborative, fast-paced environment supporting multiple departments and shifting priorities.
  • Time Management: Strong ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience creating motion graphics and short-form video content for social media or digital signage.
  • Knowledge of digital ad formats, web design, and responsive layout principles.
  • Familiarity with photography editing, retouching, and asset management systems.
  • Experience working in hospitality, entertainment, or gaming industries.

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce marketing materials including print ads, billboards, brochures, posters, digital banners, social media graphics, email layouts, and internal signage.
  • Create motion graphics, animated ads, and short video clips using Adobe After Effects for social media, in-house digital screens, and online campaigns.
  • Ensure all creative work adheres to brand guidelines, maintaining consistency across all platforms and departments.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and graphics teams to conceptualize and execute campaigns that drive guest engagement and revenue.
  • Prepare, proof, and package print and digital files accurately for internal and external production.
  • Support internal departments with creative needs, maintaining professionalism, timeliness, and attention to detail.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions, providing creative ideas for promotions, campaigns, and brand initiatives.
  • Maintain organized project files and version control within the marketing server.
  • Stay current with design trends, emerging tools, and industry standards to continuously improve creative output.
