About The Position

The Graphic Designer and Visual Media Artist (VMA) at Cade Advertising is responsible for producing innovative online and traditional advertisements based on creative briefs. This full-time position requires collaboration with various teams to create visually appealing and effective designs that align with client goals and brand images. The role demands strong interpersonal skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and a keen eye for detail, while also requiring proficiency in various design software and web technologies.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of typographic identity, web, information, and interactive design.
• Experience with design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
• Familiarity with web technologies like HTML, JavaScript, ASP, SQL Server, CGI, and XML development is desirable.
• Knowledge of web server hardware, site architecture, user interface requirements, and web navigation.
• Understanding of animation, image compression, and web-based electronic software.
• A degree in communications design or a related field is desirable.

• Experience with web server security issues and cross-platform compatibility.

Responsibilities

• Produce online and traditional creative advertisements based on provided creative briefs.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create cohesive designs reflecting brand culture and goals.
• Create 'client-ready' storyboards and visual aspects for marketing materials.
• Work with web developers and content developers to design websites and interactive properties.
• Write copy or help develop content for web and traditional projects when requested.
• Prepare design projects for presentation to agency ownership and clients.
• Provide regular progress reports for ongoing design projects.
• Conceptualize and design various advertising formats, including banner ads and print materials.
• Review websites and recommend updates for content and design.
• Stay current with web design trends and request necessary training or tools.
