About The Position

We are seeking a creative professional to design and produce visual and print communications for our DOJ client. This role requires proficiency in design software, knowledge of 508 accessibility standards, and experience managing complex print and digital projects. Responsibilities include creating print materials (training guides, office signage, interactive exhibits) and graphics for webpages. The salary wage: $62,000 - $78,000 depending on experience level. This position is located in 2 CON, 145 N. Street NE Washington DC 20002.

Requirements

  • Ability to complete CGI Background Investigation (including criminal, education, employment checks; credit/driving checks as required).
  • Must obtain DOJ Public Trust clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of related experience required; degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Dreamweaver).

Responsibilities

  • Handle requests for printing, distribution, and multimedia art for complex requirements.
  • Convert print materials to web-ready formats.
  • Review each request for completeness and clarity; seek clarification when needed.
  • Ensure customer specifications are met and provide regular progress updates; report any delays promptly.
  • Comply with DOJ policies on information access, release, and records retention.
  • Maintain expertise in Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Dreamweaver), and database tools (Access, cloud-based systems).
  • Demonstrate knowledge of printing processes, terminology, and equipment capabilities.
