About The Position

Works with Photoshop, Quark, and Illustrator to prepare advertising pieces to be ready for distribution ensuring that all designs represent the authenticity of the Center. Checks all printed material for quality assurance before final printing. Produces materials (i.e., image CD’s, banners, handouts, publicly accessible designs) for the sales team and special events for promotion of the Center. Works with photographers to ensure that the images reflect authentic Polynesia. Performs other job-related duties as assigned by one of the marketing managers.

Requirements

  • Must have an in-depth knowledge of graphic design techniques, tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Must be multi-task oriented and be able to manage multiple jobs at one time.
  • Must have a full range of body movement and be able to lift 20 – 30 lbs.
  • Must be knowledgeable about the Center and the cultures it represents.
  • Must be knowledgeable in different formats for print production
  • Must be proficient in the English language in both oral and written communication.
  • Should have at least one year of working experience in Graphics Design, Sales, or Marketing related fields.
  • Must attach resume, current semester class schedule (weekly view) and have ready a copy of your Portfolio Design.
  • Must exemplify the university Honor Code, including the Dress and Grooming Principles and Expectations
