About The Position

Fast Enterprises is a provider of essential software and services for citizens and government. In 1998, we changed the way government revenue agencies support their business with the introduction of GenTax®. We have expanded beyond Tax and now also perform implementations for Motor Vehicle, Driver License, Unemployment Insurance, and Child Support Engagement agencies. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.2.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a designer for in-house communications department, a branding agency, or design firm.
• At least 1-2 years experience managing designers or creatives.
• A diverse portfolio demonstrating brand identity, campaign development, digital assets, and multi-channel creative.
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop).
• Experience with After Effects, Premiere, and Dreamweaver is a plus.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, WordPress, email marketing systems, digital and social marketing, UX, and accessibility concepts.
• Demonstrated understanding of layout, typography, photography, color theory and composition, motion design, photography, illustration, and UX principles.
• Knowledge of printing processes and specifications and experience working with printers and suppliers.
• Ability to articulate the rationale behind design decisions and navigate subjective feedback.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically to overcome design challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects and coordinate project workflows in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Motion graphics and video production experience.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all aspects of FAST graphic design.
• Managing the day-to-day output of the graphics and video teams.
• Ensuring the delivery of high-quality visual content that aligns with FAST’s branding guidelines and objectives.
• Designing engaging, meaningful graphics, layouts, and materials for print and digital platforms.
• Collaborating with marketing, recruitment, and client teams to understand goals and translate them into impactful designs.
• Assisting in maintaining web content, working with HTML, CSS, and WordPress to implement design updates.
• Supporting video and motion graphics creation using After Effects, Premiere, or other tools as needed.
• Staying current with design trends and technologies, bringing fresh ideas to the table.
• Approaching creative challenges with a systems mindset and anticipating the broader implications of design decisions.
• Motivating and inspiring a team of designers and providing guidance and effective feedback.
