About The Position

Medium Giant is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Design Intern who’s excited to kick-start their career at a fast-paced, collaborative agency. This role is ideal for someone who loves bringing ideas to life and wants hands-on experience working alongside designers, copywriters, art directors, creative directors, and account managers. You’ll support the creation of asset libraries, campaign creative, presentation materials, simple animations, and both print and digital deliverables. As an active member of our Creative Team, you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of client and internal projects while learning how great ideas move from concept to execution. Our ideal candidate also has an interest or background in motion graphics and video editing. In this role, you’ll assist our Senior Creative Producer with concepting and pitching ideas, sourcing and editing footage, designing and animating graphics, and crafting visual stories that align with brand guidelines and creative goals. This position is perfect for someone eager to grow their skills in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.

Nice To Haves

Pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field
Strong portfolio showcasing both print and digital work
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator; After Effects and Premiere Pro a plus)
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Interest or experience in motion graphics, animation, or video editing
Understanding of briefs, mood boards, storyboards, and scripts
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

Concept and design creative solutions across multiple media with a focus on branding and advertising
Design and produce internal materials, presentations, blog graphics, and social media assets
Assist with research and asset curation (stock photography, video, vector graphics, etc.)
Present and thoughtfully articulate design concepts to the creative team
Collaborate closely with strategists, account managers, and fellow creatives to bring ideas to life
Apply feedback and revisions while managing multiple projects simultaneously
Review layouts, typography, and graphics for accuracy and quality
Prepare final production-ready files from approved designs
Follow timelines to ensure projects are completed on schedule
Catalog and archive creative assets for future use
Stay current on design trends, tools, and best practices
Take on additional responsibilities aligned with your interests and learning goals
